OUR BELIEF IN OPEN ADOPTION
We believe that every person has a right to their life story and want a child to know how he or she came into this world. We want him or her to know all the people that care about them. In our family, there's no room for secrecy, shame or unnecessarily hiding facts about our current and future child's heritage.
The reading we have done and the experience we have had with our son, who was conceived through an open egg donation, has convinced us that open adoption is truly the best for everyone--child, birth parents and adoptive parents. We look forward to reinforcing the wonder that is open adoption with the child, its birth parents and our family, to create a unique and wonderful extended family. We feel that open adoption and ongoing contact have the best chances of ensuring the best possible outcome for everyone.
We would like to find a special woman that can see herself getting to know us during her pregnancy and continuing to build upon that relationship after the child's birth, including visiting us and her child in our home. We hope to provide the peace of mind that comes from knowing us and knowing how her child is growing up in our home, a home full of love.
